Port Mahon (Mao), Spain

It's cold and windy today with some sun. I am feeling a little melancholy, so I set off to explore this town on my own and do a little walking meditation. It's Sunday, so most everything is closed (except church services), and the town is quiet. There is a street of shops on the same level as our ship and there is a whole town built into the mountain above. I walk the steps to the above area and just walk around part of the island. I saw 3 kitties :), found a swing and swang (?), and then ended up at a Burger King, because it was on of a few eating places open with wifi. I had french fries and a water, and spent the next hour and a half online on free wifi. Too bad all my family & friends are 9 hours behind! That's ok – it was a peaceful day for me. We come back here in a couple weeks (hopefully not on a Sunday!), so I look forward to seeing this town when it is awake.
