Sea Days 3-5..and Happy Easter!

The last couple of sea days have been nice - mostly calm with just a gentle rolling. Well, last night the wind picked up, and so did the ocean. We were crashing into the waves, and the ship was a rockin' and a rollin'! I hate it! Just a reminder, I live in the very front of the ship - the part with the most movement, so I feel everything :p By sea day 5 we had waves crashing and covering our windows. I woke up and took my seasick pills and went back to bed. I woke up later and tried to walk, but it was just too rough - and I was still a little nauseous. So I decided to stay in bed all day (after I took a shower - which was great fun with the ship pitching this way and that. Good thing I didn't need to wash my hair!), and watch tv. I watched 2 movies: Hugo, which was pretty good, and The Artist, which I really enjoyed. Our Opera show was cancelled this evening because it is way too rocky for us gals to be standing and singing and then walking in heel in a gown with a train. I knew if we ended up having to do the show, one of us was going down - and our show is not a comedy - lol. I ended up MCing The Liar's Club (our version of the game show), and then singing some songs with the lounge pianist, Mario. The evening ended on a nice note (and it is less rocky in the back of the ship).
