Leaving Bermuda & Sea day 1 (of 6)

So we have 6 sea days to cross the Atlantic. We left Bermuda peacefully enough, but then the wind started picking up, and the waves, and soon we were rockin' and rollin' and I made my way to my bed to hunker down for the rest of the evening. Good thing too, because we were rocking so bad, it was almost impossible to stand! The curtains in our room were swinging. I heard we had 13' swells (or something like that). When I finally fell asleep, I dreamed that the ship was about to roll over (because that is what it felt like!). Our first sea day wasn't much better. still rockin' and rollin'. I had my sea bands on and took seasickness pills - and still wasn't feeling 100%. Ventured down to dinner in the dining room, and it made me nauseous looking out the windows. We would drop down into a swell and all you could see was water (no sky!), and then we would bounce out of it. Not sure how I got through dinner. Here's hoping for calmer weather - I can't do this for another 5 days!!
