PREPPING FOR LEAVING FOR THE SHIP

I flew home from Vegas, after our last rehearsal, Thursday afternoon. I immediately went home, dropped off my stuff, said hello to my furballs, and then headed out to see my tax guy to finish my 2010 taxes. After that, I headed to the dentist to get the crown for my root canaled (I just made that a verb – lol) and prepped tooth. I met with a friend later that evening. For the next 2 days I did nothing but pack (and repack), take care of my finances and all, and spend time with niece (who is staying at my place while I am gone) and my pets. The night before I left, I was repacking (as I always do), and ended up staying up until 3 or so in the morning. It took forever trying to make what I was taking fit into two 50lb bags!! I had to take all my formal and semi-formal wear and shoes, and definitely supplemental food – but I did it! I have to say, my carry on was ready to burst!
