End of Rehearsals

I stopped writing about rehearsals when it got busy. Learning Italian songs takes a lot of time! We did end on a good note, pretty much getting through all our shows and being able to run the majority of them off book. We were told everything would be fine tuned on the ship. All the casts look great and we each have our own strengths and fortes. It was so wonderful meeting all these amazing and talented performers! I will miss all of us crammed in to that small rehearsal space, fighting for mirror time, and our self-decorated dowel microphones – lol. Theses last few days of rehearsal, we have been in a dance studio that has rooms for each cast, and that has been wonderful! Our cast is the first ship out and I am grateful for that because everything is fresh. The other casts have to wait 2, 3, and 4 weeks before they go out. Small rehearsal studio:

One of our last days of rehearsal, Chris & David (choreographer & logistics director) threw a party at their house for us all. It was fun to just relax and hang out. They provided food -awesome guacamole and even veggie burgers! - and drinks for all. They even had a pool and jacuzzi (I made it into both).
