Sea Days 3 - 6
I stopped taking seasickness pills on day 3 of the sea days – yeah!!! The ocean has definitely calmed down. Our cast has started to take over cruise staff activities, which include: coffee chat, bingo, water volleyball, golf, sudoku, and mileage pool. So far we have only done golf (which is putt-putt set up in the lobby with 3 “holes” for them to make) and mileage pool 9where guests will guess how far we have traveled since noon yesterday. Both are fun and the passengers really get into it. We award points to the winners and participation points (for the golfers) which they can redeem for various fun prizes (bookmark, t-shirt, and the like). Weeeee!
Today, our last sea day, I saw 2 flying fish!!! I've never seen one before! They look like giant dragonflies and they fly pretty far across the water.
I've laid out a couple days – just for about 40 minutes....working on my base tan! I also got a couple workouts in. I am looking forward to getting on a regular schedule so I can put myself on a regular workout schedule.
In addition to all of the above, we have been rehearsing many many hours. We do our Abba show tonight and so many people are excited about this show – yea! I think it will be fun.
Eating-wise – I am getting by ok in the mess....eating lots of french fries :I They do take care of me in the dining room – and I have had the pleasure to dine with some very wonderful passengers. A couple that Paul and I have dined with a couple times, Skip & Susan, are from Northern California. It's so great to see them, and others I've met, around the ship. They are so warm and friendly and so encouraging. It's a great atmosphere to work in.
