Larantuka, Indonesia

This is a new port for Silversea - and our first time here...maybe even the residents of this island's first time to host a cruise ship. The port wasn't really ready for a ship (very unsafe/rundown dock), and they seemed just as interested in us as we were in them!

I thought this couple was so sweet, holding hands. I told them so, to which the woman told me it wasn't what I thought - he was just keeping her from falling down!

Although there was such poverty, the landscape was absolutely beautiful - beautiful green mountains, lush trees, blue water, and such very friendly people.
