MY BIRTHDAY!

Ok, I know my birthday was back in mid June, but I am finally filling y'all in on the day =) I had to work the lunch show since one of the girls had her sister visiting and was out of town. I opened my presents from my family that morning and walked to work wearing a nice sized tiara (it's my birthday! I can do what I want). So I was stared at, but no more than usual, and anyway, it made me happy. I had some gifties at work, and then came home after to set up and get ready for my potluck party. About half the Japanese cast showed up, and a few of my gaijin (that's what they call us foreigners here) friends (most everyone else had to work). Anyway, it was great great great!!! I just love my new friends! People brought gifts even when I asked them not to...the Japanese folks serenaded me and had poppers and draped me in various party paraphenalia...it was a treat!


Yes, these pictures are blurry, but they were taken with someone else's camera. I didn't have my camera that night. After we ate and drank, we all headed to karaoke and sang til the early morn! I had such an awesome, fantastic, wonderful birthday =)
