Today we rode our last Shinkansens! We almost missed one of the trains because the first was stopped due to heavy rains, but they held the second train for us, so we made it.
It was a long morning, so it was nice to get to our hotel, where we stayed last year! The hotel is very nice, a lot of marble, and a cool rock garden view from my hotel room. The best part was that our show was in the same hotel!
The show went well. The brilliant Eji (he's a famous clarinetist here), joined us for our final performance. A woman at one of the front tables gave us gals each a rose - so nice!

The Billy Vaughn Orchestra
I have had a great time over all. I got to see many places I've never been, ride in a shinkansen (for many MANY times now!), see my wonderful friends, and work & travel with some great people =) But now it's time to >eek< pack it all up!! I will be up late stuffing my suitcases! See you all very very soon!!
