Who knew the Japanese didn't drink soymilk!

I thought I would have no problem finding soy milk and soy this and soy that....but all that I find in abundance is tofu and edamame (both of which I love). Apparently, soy milk is relatively new in Japan (so I've been told). That just seems so bizarre to me.

I can identify most produce over here. I am sad to say that I will have to be without my beloved Granny Smith apples, since they don't have those here. They do have HUGE red and yellow/green apples that are crisp, but sweet and mealy (I like the tart). The majority of the produce is individually or group wrapped. I can make a pretty nice salad, but the servings they sell are so small! I have to buy several containers of loose greens to make a nice big salad.

It is always exciting to see American products. There is a market near Disneyland that carries "foreign" items. I bought microwave popcorn...lol!
