NYE
Our show went very well. We ended up having to cut a couple numbers (my solo and our commercials =( and the orchestra's set was cut to half an hour...but it all was good. The audience was huge and distracted (a lot of talking and feeding going on), but we had several watching and responding and that made it all worth it. I can't believe we were flown so far away for a half hour gig! lol!

After our short gig, we packed up and jumped on a bus to try to make it back to our hotel before midnight.
We arrived right at midnight! I saw part of the fireworks going off over the bay (a hotel was blocking the view). When we walked in our hotel lobby, a band was playing and all the hotel workers were drinking champagne. We rushed upstairs to drop off our stuff and hurry back down to celebrate. Even Dita von Teese and her group joined us later - for a bit.
I stayed up late drinking and visiting, and being so grateful that I get opportunities like this to travel the world, perform, and meet great people!
