The 80's are alive and well in Japan
Hi all! I am still without a computer. After trying to have it fixed here and failing, I am sending it home and hoping Best Buy will repair it, or give me another (my hard drive is broken). It's so frustrating!
Anyway - I want to let you know that the 80's clothing style is very popular here. Now, I lived in the 80's and have very fond memories, but some things should just stay that way - as memories! Leg warmers (!) are all the rage (though with the short short skirts a lot of the school girls wear - they need them!), prairie skirts (uh!), and leggings under skirts (a la Madonna). I think leggings under the skirts and even shorts are the worst! Also china doll style shoes (though not in black) are popular too. It's very amusing. Just bring back the music - that's enough! lol
The weather is getting nice. Flowers are bloomimg everywhere and it just makes my walk to the train station so beautiful! I love Spring! Speaking of Spring - I Spring cleaned the other day and rearranged my room. I now have a little reading nook. I will post pictures....when I am able.

I'm so jealous -- Spring in Japan is truly glorious. Sorry about all the computer hassle -- what a pain! Looks like snail mail's the way to go for now. Kitties all miss you. Briq is HUGE and is the biggest cuddler ever. Maggee's a diva and likely to remain so. Hope you are well and enjoying the cherry blossoms!
