I Opened!!

I got to be in the opening cast for our new show yesterday (the 8th)! We had 4 shows and they were all sold out 25 minutes after the park opened (and people have to pay $25 to see the show and have lunch). It was great!



I got into the swing of things and completely comfortable by the 3rd show. It was great having kids in the audience and watching their enthusiasm. EVERYBODY had a video camera going!



I only had one mishap, and that was in the 2nd show when my heel got caught in the hem of my dress and it took 1/2 a musical number to get it out (I was hopping around!). Also, I messed up a lyric and came up with my own word - but since most Japanese don't speak English, they never knew!!



All these pictures were taken on the sly at our dress rehearsal (in our dressing room)so...shhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I wanted everyone to see what I am wearing.

So - I have the day off today, but I start rehearsals again for the dinner show tonight. More later!
