Happy Valentine's Day!

So yeah, I have been horrible about keeping up with my blog. The super slow internet has made it extremely challenging to upload pics - and once I got behind - I kept putting off writing. I decided to get back to writing and updating all on my adventures at sea - sans pics - and I will add the pictures in when I can.

The latest:

I am doing well on the ship. We have had a fantastic Cruise Director, formerly a performer herself, who has taken such good care of us. She recently left for vacation and now we have a younger Cruise Director on who seems pretty cool. Our shows have been going very well. Our cast has received the highest ratings for entertainment in the history of SilverSeas! We are very proud of that - and so is the company. We still have to fight for some privileges - one in particular is being able to wear our own clothes to dinner in the dining room (as opposed to uniform) and around the ship when we are not working. Company policy hasn't changed on that yet, but our Cruise Director and Hotel Director let us do this.

Speaking of Hotel Director.......There's a new man in my life, and he is the most amazing man! We met while he was Hotel Director on our ship. He left to go back to his ship (Silver Shadow) in December - so our relationship has been conducted via email and skype since then. His vacation is coming up, and he planned it in the Caribbean so that we can see each other (my ship is currently in the Caribbean through March). Do you see how special he is? I am so happy :D

The weather has been great, the ports have been very nice (some nicer than others), and I have a decent tan going on :)
